Annie chose waffles for her birthday breakfast and grape juice. We went to Sonic that evening and played at a playground. The birthday season is over for a little while. We made it. :)
This is our second set of bees. We hope to harvest 30 pounds of honey per hive this fall.
Jonathan is placing the queen in this picture. (Our other hive is right behind him.) The kids love this stuff.
There they are. 10,000 bees and their queen. Amazing. Jonathan says that by mid-summer there could be up to 60,000 in each hive. Wow. They are already hard at work. I see them out and about and Jonathan has opened up the hives and there is already big combs and eggs.
