While I was in Dallas my mom, Val, and I ran a 5K at White Rock. We are training for the 1/2 marathon at White Rock in December. It was our first race together--it was fun. I sure am glad that the big race will be in December because it was nasty hot at 7:30am in Dallas. I'm used to beautiful New Mexico weather.
